The holidays are special for so many reasons. From spending time with loved ones, to putting up the tree and indulging in oh so delicious food, what’s not to love? I’ve reached the point of the season where I’ve lost all self control when it comes to Holiday treats.
I came up with this recipe in the hopes that it would give me a sweet holiday fill, without feeling like i’ve overindulged. And, it truly does just that! This White Chocolate Christmas Cocoa delivers every bit of holiday sweetness that food should this time of year, without making your stomach feel like you’ve had too much. It’s also the perfect sweet treat to whip up for a slight twist on a classic favorite. You can even garnish yours with the things you like best (peppermint, chocolate chips, marshmallows) to get an even sweeter taste.
Ever since making this for the first time a few weeks ago, we’ve been making it nonstop! And, if you’re a white chocolate fan, I have no doubt you will be soon too.
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Garnishes: white chocolate chips, marshmallows, candy canes
- Place all ingredients into a sauce pan over the stove and whisk over medium-heat. Once warm, add to a glass and garnish with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
Do you have a favorite Christmas drink? I’d love to hear what you’re sipping on this time of year. BTW, Snow Covered White Russian Cocktail and Frozen Hot Cocoa.
XO,
K
