Staples. We all have them, and we all love them. Regardless of the season I have 3-6 pieces that carry me through months and months of weekly wear. I hate to play favorites, but my Fall and Winter wardrobe is home to my three FAVORITE wardrobe staples. Curious to know what they are? Keep reading…
I love the layers, the cozy textures and knits and of course the varying patterns this time of year. As much as I love the deep reds and burnt oranges, you’ll find that I tend to gravitate towards neutrals like the creams, blacks and olive tones you see in today’s outfit. They never fail to inspire me the most. Maybe because they can take me anywhere. I’ve done my fair share of experimenting, but these are three Fall staples that I can’t live without:
Cream Sweater
I’ve realized pretty quickly that I can’t resist neutral knits in the Fall. I tend to pull out Cream and White Sweaters in October, and wear them consistently through the New Year. They pair perfectly with denim, skirts or leggings and are especially great for any holiday travel you may have planned. I’ve had the one pictured here for a year (from JCREW) and found a few similar options for you that I’ve linked below.
Moto Leggings
I’m a sucker for athleisure, and as much as I wish I could wear it daily, I can’t. Naturally, i’ve found the next best thing in the form of these SPANX Moto Leggings. I had heard amazing things about them before purchasing, but can honestly say they’ve been the best investment I’ve made in the past few months. I love that they’re a touch edgy, and can be styled for a night out or for running errands in the day like I did here. Check out a few similar styles below!
Olive Jacket
Where do I begin with this jacket? It’s gotten me through Safari Adventures, Apple and Pumpkin Picking, Bonfires and Nights Out. If you buy ONE THING from this post, please get yourself an olive wax jacket, I swear you won’t regret it!
XO,
K
