With our wedding just over 2 months away, J and I have been hitting the gym non-stop. I’ve paired up with fitness clothing brand Crane & Lion to share how i’m working hard to stick to my fitness goals.
Have you ever noticed how after New Years Eve the gym is packed full of people? Well, we’ve made it to March and as the days drag on I see less and less people hitting the gym. With all that life puts in front of you, it’s so easy to write off. But, the second I do I immediately regret it. Check out some of my tips for staying motivated & sticking to your fitness goals below:
- Buy new gym clothes: Call me crazy, but one of the main ways that I stay motivated is new gym clothes. When I first found Crane & Lion I died over their adorable leggings and comfy clothes. They’re perfect for working out in, and help you look effortlessly chic when you’re running errands.
- Create a fitness routine: I love to plan my fitness routine ahead of time (shocker). Each week I like to plan out what days i’ll go for a run or hop on the elliptical. For me, planning ahead helps to hold myself accountable.
- Find a workout buddy: Everyone struggles to stick to their fitness plan. Jordon just recently got into working out and it has been so helpful. I love that we can find time to go to the gym together, because it helps to force me to do more than sit on the couch after work.
- Mix it up: I used to run every single day, but after a while that got monotonous. Now, I try to mix it up by spinning, running and lifting weights (or trying to). I have tons of friends who also mix it up by using classpass and trying out different fitness classes. It will definitely help to keep working out fun!

Ooooh, love those leggings! I have a bit of a collection and great fitness tips to keep up with those goals. Mixing things up have been the best thing I could have done for my fitness routine. At the moment, I’m dabbling a bit more into yoga and love it. I never realized how tight a lot of my muscles are until yoga.

Yoga is the next workout I want to add to my list. I’ve always been nervous it would be tough because i’m not used to it!
