Hi, hello and Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’m so excited for today’s cocktail recipe, that I really can’t contain myself. Very rarely can you combing something healthy with a tasty beverage, so when you manage to do it you can’t help but give yourself one big pat on the back.
Let’s start with the inspiration behind today’s post: Codigo 1530 Rosa Tequila. You guys, YUM. I’m typically not a big tequila drinker, but man is this good. It has these very subtle floral notes that bring an entirely new taste to any drink. And, it’s even amazing all on it’s own.
I decided to try something a little different with this drink and pair it with one of my favorite drinks: Kombucha. I first got this idea from half baked harvest, and knew that the Codigo 1530 Tequila was the perfect alcohol to try it with. Ready to stop reading and try one out for yourself? Here’s how!
- 6 raspberries (crushed)
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 2 ounces Codigo 1530 Rosa tequila
- 1 ginger lemon kombucha
- Mix together raspberries, lemon juice, tequila and kombucha in a cocktail shaker.
- Pour over ice and garnish with raspberries and lemon. Enjoy!
