‘Tis the season for spending hours wrapping gifts – am I right? You’ve picked out all your gifts for your loved ones (maybe even too many!) but, forgot you’d have to wrap them all too. Well, don’t worry because today i’m sharing some quick tips for wrapping Pinterest-worthy presents this holiday season.
As someone who used to get really stressed out about wrapping presents, let me reassure you that gift wrapping can be oh so simple with the right tricks.
Tips & Tricks for Wrapping Gifts
1. Choose A Theme
As long as I can remember, my mom had a different present theme for every single Christmas. Some years we’d go traditional with pine and solid paper, while other years she’d mix it up by sticking with hues of blue. I loved coming downstairs and seeing the color coordinated presents sitting under the tree, so it’s no surprise i’ve adopted this tip for my own home.
This year, I decided to go with a gold and white theme to go along with our gold tree and accent pieces. I tied it together by choosing glittered ribbons and gold gift tags!
2. Add A Fun Statement
Spruce up your wrapping this year by adding some fresh pine or greenery. Not in the mood for a traditional look? Swap out the greenery for an interesting ornament or miniature tree. I promise, it will complete the look of your entire tree.
3. Make It Personal
Have a glam friend? Try out paper like i’ve chosen to give her the glitter present she deserves. Or, tie on a big red bow to make your favorite little elf feel like the gift came straight from the North Pole. Give your present an extra special touch based on who will be opening it on Christmas morning.
4. Play With Pops of Color
Still stumped on how you want to wrap your gifts this year? If all else fails just have some fun with some pops of Christmas color! Think a big red bow, candy cane or bright red ornament! Or, try wrapping it up with a festive garland.
Happy wrapping!
