I have a very special visitor taking over the blog today, just in time for Mother’s Day. Meet my momma! She’s taught me everything I know from how to decorate my space to what to serve in the kitchen. And, I’m SO excited to have her take over the blog today to share her Mother’s Day Gift Guide. Happy shopping!

The clock is ticking and you haven’t shopped for Mother’s Day yet? May 12 approaches, friends, and if you need some fun ideas, read on. I’m Sherry, also known as Kenzie’s mom, and I’ve taken over her blog for the day with some gift ideas any mother is sure to love.
For the Beauty Loving Mom
Whatever our age, all moms are focused on prolonging the aging process. I love the Skin Gym Rose Quartz Workout Kit for just that reason. It relaxes facial muscles and smooths out wrinkles for a beautiful glow. Get it quick; it’s a limited edition.
Also a must for me is the Slip Silk Sleep Mask, which I use every night. It comes in fun colors and patterns and is a treat for the eyes, but also thick and durable. For the jet-setting mom, splurge on the Slip Sleep on the Go set, which also includes a travel sized pillow.
For the Thoughtful Mom
One of the best gifts I’ve ever received is the Gathered Thoughts Jar by Sugarboo and Company. It’s a large glass jar with a hole in the lid. Whether it’s a blessing, an accomplishment, a memory or a dream she wants to remember, she can write it out and deposit it in the jar. At years end, she will have a treasury of good thoughts and actions on which to reflect.
For the Traveling Mom
Got an extra special mom? Check out Cuyana products. I especially love their pebbled Leather Travel Case Set. It comes in at least 10 colors and can hold anything from ear buds and tech cords to cosmetic and grooming accessories. I use mine on long international flights. In a pinch, I even once used the largest (it’s a set of three) as a clutch while traveling. To make your gift even more fabulous, get mom the matching Classic Structured Leather Tote. It will be her go-to tote, I promise.
Got a free spirit mom who likes to roam? Give her ‘The Bucket List, Places to Find Peace and Quiet’ by Victoria Ward. Great for her, and also great to scout out places for your next get away…wink, wink.
Are you on a budget but want to give mom something exotic? Try the Escapist Boxed Candle. It comes in dreamy scents, like Maui (beachy), Santorini (fresh), Tuileries (floral), and Italia (woodsy). She’ll close her eyes, breathe in, and daydream the hours away.
For the Stylish Mom
Summer is coming, and while I do collect a variety of fun sandals—embroidered, beaded, tasseled or woven, it’s also essential to have that one durable pair that will wear well. I love the Sorel Ella Sandal for its soft straps and comfortable EVA foot bed. They take no time to break in, so they’re ready to go straight out of the box. They come in 9 colors but my favorite is the Sage.
For the Creative Mom
I’m a writer, so books are always a great gift to receive. Cookbooks are my real jam and I love them as much for the gorgeous photographs as for the recipes. Currently, I’ve gotten the hubby onto a clean food kick and we are happily experimenting with Kristen Cavalleri’s ‘True Roots’ cookbook. I also think ‘Healthier Together’ by Liz Moody is amazing.
Thinking about being a little more creative this year? Here’s a gift every mother will love. Recreate an old photo from when you were little and frame both photographs side by side. All the moms I know have loved watching their babies grow up, but have hated the passage of time. She’ll swoon over this gift. Guaranteed!
Happy shopping, and the happiest of Mother’s Days to all of you moms out there!
XO,
Sherry (and Kenzie)
