Girls, meet my all-new Frosé Cocktail. Look at her — isn’t she just gorgeous! Plus, she’s delightful, refreshing and pink. So, you know she’s a keeper.
I’m a firm believer that a good cocktail can make a stressful day a whole lot better. And, this little lady is my new secret. In fact, I’ve started making extra, just so that I can keep some on deck in the freezer when I crave it.
Here’s the deal. This Frosé Cocktail takes a bit longer to prepare than I care to admit. But, it’s only because you have to allow plenty of time for the Rosé to turn to ice in order to give it it’s slushy texture. That being said, ladies it is worth it. So so worth it. And, after the Rosé turns to ice it’s really easy to make this little lady. All you need is some simple syrup and lemon juice. Yep, it’s that simple — what did I tell ya?
- Bottle of Rosé
- 2½ ounces fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- Pour your bottle of wine into ice cube trays and put in the freezer for a minimum of 6 hours.
- After the wine has become ice, put a pot on a burner and add water and sugar to make simple syrup. Bring the water to a boil and stir until all of the sugar has been dissolved. (That's simple syrup!) Let sit until it becomes room temperature.
- Add frozen Rosé cubes, lemon juice and simple syrup to a blender and blend to your desired texture. Serve immediately!
Have you tried Frosé yet? I promise you’ll love it. So, give it a shot and let me know what you think!
XO,
K
