I have to admit, Valentines Day always brings out my favorite DIY projects. From making Valentines Mailboxes as a child, to crafting sweet little presents for friends and family there is never a shortage of inspiration when it comes to celebrating L-O-V-E. This DIY He Loves Me He Loves Me Not Floral Garland may just be one of the best yet, no? It’s sweet, simple and the perfect decoration for any at-home date night or Galentines party. Plus, it can be made in under 30 minutes. So, let’s get crafting!
What You Will Need: Makes roughly one 4 ft garland
1 Roll of Natural Twine
2 Bunches Fresh Flowers (I chose roses and a simple, garden flower)
Scissors
Step One: Cut the twine to the length of your desired garland. I cut mine to 4/5 ft. Then, cut some spare twin into strips of about 2 inches. These pieces will be used to fasten your flowers to the garland.
Step Two: Trim your flowers at an angle about 1 to 2 inches below the blossom.
Step Three: To fasten the flower to your twine, tie a double knot around each stem using the smaller twine strips. Repeat this process until all flowers and sprigs are secured to the garland.
NOTE: If you plan to hang your garland instead of draping it, make sure to leave some additional room at the top.
Step Four: Either hang your garland, or drape it around a sign or frame. Enjoy!
That’s it! Sometimes the best DIYs are the simplest. Thanks for following along, and happy (almost) Valentines Day!

Kenzie
