Over the past 4-5 years i’ve tried to avoid the color yellow. Given my pale complexion, I always felt like it just looked a bit off. But, then I found this top from Loft and I couldn’t resist trying it on. The details were so cute, and I just couldn’t leave it hanging on the rack. Boy, am I glad I didn’t.
From work to weekends i’ve been living in this yellow top. It’s bright, it’s cheery and wearing it truly puts me in a better mood. It’s funny how a color can do that! There are so many incredible yellow pieces hitting the stores right now, and i’m buying up way too many of them. My favorites? This casual tee, these Kate Spade Espadrilles, this fringe shift and this flutter top. They’re all perfect for summer, and affordable too!

My skin has yellow undertones so yellow is a hard color for me to pull off. The shade of yellow of your top is gorgeous though and it is definitely making me reconsider wearing yellow! Love this outfit!
