Two recipes in one week. WHO AM I? Martha Stewart, that’s who. I’ve been on such a holiday kick ever since we got back from Paris, and I wanted to continue that kick today by sharing my annual hot cocoa recipe with you all.
Last year, I went a bit boozy with my Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa with Bourbon and Sea Salt (FIRE) and I also shared this White Chocolate Christmas Cocoa. And, if you’ve been following along for a really long time you may remember a Boozy South African cocoa I shared a few years back after our wedding. The cocoa’s of Christmas’ past have all been delicious, and we definitely drink our fair share of them around the house. But, i’m so excited for this year’s drink: Gingerbread Hot Chocolate.
This Christmas drink was 100% inspired by Jordon’s love for all things Gingerbread. He’s the first to grab cookies when they come out late November, and I swear would go through an entire box if I didn’t stop him. (hah) I decided to add a bit of his favorite treat to my favorite chocolatey drink and LOVE the way that it turned out. Hopefully, you and your family do too!
