This time of year, getting dressed in the morning can be a real challenge. Let’s face it, we’ve officially passed Labor Day, and most of us are ready for sweaters, boots and pumpkin spice lattes. But, its still SO hot outside. So today, this new-found Florida girl is sharing how to style summer fashion for the last few dog days of summer.
Add Fall Accessories
One of my g0-to hacks for dressing for fall when it still feels like summer is adding fall accessories. From light scarves to bangles, nothing freshens a wardrobe quite like new accessories. I instantly fell in love with this adorable watch from JORD Wood Watches. I love its unique feel and have already gotten so many compliments on it. I’m so excited to team up with them today to share a giveaway with you lovely girls! Follow this link for a chance to win a $75 e-voucher through 9/25. Plus, anyone who enters gets a $20 e-gift card.
Choose Neutral Colors
From pinks to reds summer is all about pops of color. This time of year, I get rid of major of color and stick to more neutral tones, like this adorable light blue top from SheInside or a classic white popover. I also paired this look with my neutral Steve Madden sandals to keep it classic.
Trade Your Shorts for Jeans
Another way to start to transition your looks from summer to fall is to trade your shorts for jeans. Its an easy switch that rarely affects the overall look of an outfit. And, its a great way to start adding boots to your look as well. I’m a firm believer that not being able to wear white after labor day is a lie, especially for those of us who live in Florida. Follow along to see how i’ll be wearing my distressed white denim all season long.
How do you style your end of summer fashion?
