Hello, gorgeous girls! I’m SO excited about today’s post, because I’ve been dying to make my own pom pom basket ever since I saw this adorable basket by Eliza Gran. Now that we’ve finally moved into our new place, it was the perfect time to figure out how to make my own to store our extra blankets and pillows.
Have you heard of the clover pom pom maker? If not, believe me when I tell you your crafting life is about to change. Pom Poms are everywhere this season, but it can take a while to make them by hand. This pom pom maker completely changes the game. You can make one in just a few minutes. Let’s just say I went a little pom pom crazy making these baskets, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Read on to learn how to make this DIY pom pom basket on your own!
You Will Need:
Yarn in assorted colors (I used just under 3 spools for these two baskets)
Sharp scissors
Clover Pom Pom Maker
Hot Glue Gun
Seagrass Basket
Step One
Open the largest pom pom maker that you have and wrap the yarn around one end. Make sure to wrap the yarn tight so that your pom pom comes out as full as possible. Once you have finished wrapping one side, loop to the second side and wrap it in yarn as well.
Step Two
Once both sides of the pom pom maker are wrapped in yarn, close them. Cut the yarn along the middle all the way around the pom pom maker. Take a piece of yarn and tie it around the circumference of the pom pom maker. Make sure to pull very tightly so that your pom pom does not fall apart.

Step Three
Open the pom pom maker carefully and fluff and trim your pom pom. Then repeat these steps until you have your desired amount of pom poms.
Step Four
Using your hot glue gun, glue the pom poms around the basket and let dry overnight.
