It’s that time of year again. You know, the time when you need to have piles and piles of hostess gifts ready to go. I’m a huge fan of making my own gifts, so I just couldn’t wait to share one of my favorites with you all. This DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub makes your skin feel AMAZING. Plus, it smells great too!
When I was younger my mom and I used to make sugar scrub every holiday season to giveaway. My favorite scent was always this peppermint because it’s incredible soothing and smells amazing. Im convinced, there’s nothing better for your skin than an exfoliator and this is by far the best sugar scrub i’ve ever used. And, it makes an awesome gift for your girls or family!
So, what’s the secret to my scrub? I always use coconut oil because it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and full of moisture. Plus, the peppermint smells fantastic! Keep reading to see the three ingredients you need to make it.
DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub
What you need:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup granulated sugar
15 drops peppermint essential oil
Air tight jars
To make:
Melt your coconut oil in a medium bowl and let cool. Then, mix in sugars and add peppermint oil. Mix well and pour into air tight jars.
Shake jars well as the oil will float to the top of your container.
That’s it! So whip up a batch to giveaway or just make one for yourself (I don’t blame you)!
