We’ve lived in two dorm rooms, seven apartments and one house over the course of our relationship. From space to space we shook up everything. The color scheme, decorations and accent furniture…you name it, we changed it. But, there’s one thing we never changed up: Our bedding.
Don’t get me wrong, we shook up our duvet covers, shams, blankets and quilts but we always kept the same base color: White. It might sound boring, but i’m a HUGE proponent of all white bedding. Why? For starters, it’s practical! With a dog (and a messy husband) I love being able to bleach my bedding to keep it fresh and clean. Secondly, it creates a great base that can be switched up no matter what your accent colors are. You can add texture and other neutrals to make a boho space, pops of color for a chic vibe or subtle greys for a crisp, clean look. It’s so versatile, which suits my indecisive design habit perfectly.

Both our current Master Bedroom and our Guest Bedroom are built off of a white base with color and texture brought in through the quilts, blankets and pillows. Today, I’ve rounded up a few of white bedding basics. Four of which you’ll find in our space today!
