In the ’70s everything from countertops to floor tiles were covered in stone tiles topped with confetti-like chips. But, while it might have reminded you of your grandmother’s house last year, Terrazzo has made a MAJOR design resurgence and I for one am here for it.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of little pops of color set against a neutral background. So, it should come as NO surprise that Terrazzo is my dream print when it comes to decor. J and I are remodeling our powder bathroom soon, and I even lobbied for a Terrazzo counter top before being shut down. SIDE NOTE: If you haven’t seen countertops or flooring made from Terrazzo yet, you have to search on Pinterest. I’m in LOVE! But, trust me, that’s just the start.
But, you certainly don’t have to go all out with Terrazzo for it to make an impact. I’ve added just a few subtle decorations to make a statement in our home.
From art prints, to coasters and wallpaper, i’m rounding up a few of the pieces I’ve been keeping an eye on below. With so many amazing finds, Jordon might just have to get on board! (HA!)
