I’ve never really been the biggest fan of crop tops. Sure, I went through that phase in high school where I felt (like every 17 year old) that showing more skin was instantly cool. But, my now 25-year old self appreciates that less doesn’t always mean more. That being said, when I saw this sweet ruffled crop top, I just couldn’t say no — and i’m so happy I took the risk and bought it!
I like to think that my style has evolved quite a bit since high school. But, i’m always trying to think though new ways to wear trends or make them fit my personal style. So, what did this top teach me? That even a daring crop top can be made to look casual and cute when paired with some classic mom jeans, converse and a bandana. Add in a bold lip and you’re good to go!
My top is only $22, but for those who aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into crop top territory they also have a tee shirt version as well as a version for a fuller figure.
