In our house, the Bloody Mary is king. I swear there is no drink that J loves more, so when Natalie’s Juice sent over their brand new Tomato juice, I couldn’t wait to share our killer recipe.
The secret to this family recipe is the honey bacon. My mom always cooks her bacon in the oven and drizzles it with honey half way through, which makes for the perfect Bloody Mary topper. I love to also set out all of the toppings so people can pick and choose what they want for their garnish.
Hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!
- 2 oz. Vodka in glass with ice
- 4 oz. Natalie's Tomato Juice
- 1/2 t. fresh ground horseradish or more to taste
- splash of Tobasco
- pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 t.Worchestershire
- Bacon
- Green Olives
- Celery
- Wedge of Lemon
- Pickle
- Preheat the oven to 350. Once heated, bake the bacon for 11 minutes. After 11 minutes, cover bacon in honey and turn over to bake for another 11 minutes.
- Add all ingredients (except garnishes) to a tall glass and stir.
- Choose your garnishes and enjoy!
