How often have you read an article that tells you to drink more water? I’m guessing pretty often. You’re body is made of roughly 60% water, so when you’re dehydrated (aka thirsty) you drastically hinder your body’s performance. The general rule of thumb is to drink 8, 8 oz glasses of water a day but boy does that get boring. That’s where this blueberry lemon infused water comes in.
Because this is a semi-safe place, i’m going to let you all in on a little secret. An ice cold coca cola is my vice. And, if I can snag one over a glass of water I will any day of the week. Yes, I know it’s bad for me. But, I love the taste — especially after a rough work day. When I came up with this blueberry lemon infused water recipe I knew that I needed a substitute for my bad habit. And, I knew that it had have sparkling water involved to give me that same bubble texture that a soda has.
