4 Reasons You’ll Want to Wear a Midi Dress

Now, i’m going to be honest with you all. I’m not usually the biggest fan of long dresses. I’m pretty tall, and maxi dresses make me look even taller, so I try to avoid them. But, that all changed when I found the midi dressed. It’s similar to a maxi dress, but shows just a bit more skin and breaks up the look a little. Keep reading to see why you should totally buy into this trend, just like I have! 

Show off your shoes

I love shoes. I have such an embarrassing amount of them, and am always frustrated that my maxi dresses cover them up. The midi dress is the perfect solution. It’s the look of a maxi dress, with the freedom to show a little leg. I also love that a midi dress can be worn with sandals, like i’ve styled mine, or with an adorable pair of wedges.  

Dress it up or down 

If you’ve followed the blog for a while, you know I’m a fan of clothes that are chic and easy to wear, and Midi dresses are just that. You can throw this on with flats for lunch with the girls or add some accessories and a killer pair of wedges to wear it for date night. If you don’t have the biggest wardrobe, this is a great staple piece that can take you anywhere.

Style in minutes 

Midi dresses have been my go-to this summer. After lounging by the pool, i’ve thrown them on immediately and headed to lunch looking chic and summery. They’re so simple to toss on, and I get compliments for this one all the time.
