It’s no secret that i’m a fan of keeping things casual on the weekend. Let’s be honest – who doesn’t like to throw on a pair of distressed jeans and a tee? Because i’m such a fan of the casual look, i’ve come up with 3 different ways to make my weekend style a little more chic. They’re all simple solutions that can easily freshen up your style without forcing you to spend tons of money on new outfits!
Invest in off-the-shoulder tops:
By now it’s no secret that I absolutely love this trend. I have one too many off the shoulder dresses and tops (okay, maybe two). But, they’re so easy to throw on with jeans like the white ones I’m wearing here. I swear it instantly makes the outfit sassier & sexier. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on this simple top – and it’s so cozy!
Spruce up your handbag collection:
Handbags are my secret wardrobe weapon. I love investing in new tote bags, clutches and purses. Adding a pop of color with a small clutch can instantly transform your casual weekend look into something that makes a statement. Add a pair of heels:
Ahh heels, love them or hate them they sure make any outfit chic. Some of my favorite casual date-night looks involved slouchy jeans, nude sandal heels and a simple top. Heels can truly go with anything, and I love throwing them on with a casual look to add a little edge to my outfit.
