Do you have a go-to outfit? You know the one that you reach for last-minute when you’re running late for a dinner or event? For me, that outfit almost always includes this simple cream top paired with one of my favorite pairs of jeans.
I’ve never been a fan of the color red. In fact, I spent years avoiding it. To be honest, it was always that color that I thought looked plain awful on me. That is, until I posted this dress to the blog a few weeks back. I got so many sweet comments from you lovely ladies telling me that red was my color (talk about a confidence booster). Needless to say I was shocked. But, ever since i’ve given myself a break and learned to embrace red.
Spring is here and i’m SO excited about it. I’ll be honest, i’ve been stocking up on new dresses, tops and shoes for warmer weather for quite some time now. But, nonetheless I wanted to start spring off on a high note and share my must-have shoes for the season with you lovely ladies.
With spring, comes dresses that feel so feminine and effortless — don’t you think? I love when it starts to get a tad warmer out, because it always feels so easy to reach for a dress, a cute pair of heels or slides and just go. This sweet Bardot polka dot dress does just that, and let me tell you — i’m in love.
I’ve never really been the biggest fan of crop tops. Sure, I went through that phase in high school where I felt (like every 17 year old) that showing more skin was instantly cool. But, my now 25-year old self appreciates that less doesn’t always mean more. That being said, when I saw this sweet ruffled crop top, I just couldn’t say no — and i’m so happy I took the risk and bought it!
Big news: The Shopbop Buy More, Save More sale is on! I love Shopbop’s clothes, but sometimes they can be so expensive. But, now through March 4th you can get up to 25% off full-priced and sale items with code “GOBIG17”. You guys, this sale is so good for stocking up on new spring and summer looks, so I figured i’d round up a few of my favorite finds!
There’s something about exposing just the tiniest bit of skin that makes the off the shoulder trend so feminine and flirty — don’t you think?
There’s something about wearing “fringe” anything that makes me instantly feel like a rockstar. So, when I found this sweater at Hope & Stetson for just $49, I knew that I had to have it. Plus, it’s proven to be my go-to layering piece for this pre-spring weather we’re experiencing here in Florida!
Self-love is one of those concepts that we always talk about focusing on, but never seem to truly find time for. With all the daily stressors of life, it’s the one thing that falls to the side. But, it’s arguably what we should focus on the most.
