Another day, another gingham dress that i’ve gone completely gaga over…
Over the past 4-5 years i’ve tried to avoid the color yellow. Given my pale complexion, I always felt like it just looked a bit off. But, then I found this top from Loft and I couldn’t resist trying it on. The details were so cute, and I just couldn’t leave it hanging on the rack. Boy, am I glad I didn’t.
The other day I was casually perusing my closet before heading out to run some errands. Sure, I could have gotten dressed up but, like most days, I opted instead for an oversized tunic and my favorite pair of jeans. This is just one of those outfits you can grab at any time, feel good in and still look put together. Trust me, it’s that good.
We could not have asked for better weather for our last weekend in Florida a few weeks ago. The sun was shining non-stop, the flowers were fully bloomed and Jordon and I spent the entire day exploring, swimming and soaking up the last of Florida sun.
I’ve been keeping a big secret the past few weeks: we’ve moved! Last week was our final one in Naples, FL. As of Sunday we’ve officially unpacked all of our boxes and moved back home to Carmel, IN. Has it been crazy? Yes. Are we thrilled? Yes. There truly is no place quite like home.
There is something so feminine about blush. The color instantly puts me in a good mood and I just can’t get enough of it right now. From this top, to these shoes and these accent pieces i’ve been wearing it non-stop. I think it’s safe to say it has become the color of spring, and my favorite stores are selling the most darling pieces right now. So, today i’ve rounded up my top 12 must-have blush pieces for spring!
I’ve never been a fan of the color red. In fact, I spent years avoiding it. To be honest, it was always that color that I thought looked plain awful on me. That is, until I posted this dress to the blog a few weeks back. I got so many sweet comments from you lovely ladies telling me that red was my color (talk about a confidence booster). Needless to say I was shocked. But, ever since i’ve given myself a break and learned to embrace red.
With spring, comes dresses that feel so feminine and effortless — don’t you think? I love when it starts to get a tad warmer out, because it always feels so easy to reach for a dress, a cute pair of heels or slides and just go. This sweet Bardot polka dot dress does just that, and let me tell you — i’m in love.
