Mocktails. Yes, we love our cocktails here at Simply J&K, but ladies there is a time and place for mocktails. And, summer is it. Trust me.
They’re light, refreshing and they don’t make you feel bloated or dehydrated when you’re done drinking them. I’m a fan of all types of mocktails, but lately i’ve been loving this Sparkling Raspberry Blueberry concoction I came up with. It’s lo-cal and so delicious that it makes you feel like you’re actually cheating on your diet. And, that NEVER happens.
Ever since I started getting really busy at work a few months ago, I’ve been inhaling soda. So, I knew I needed something that was healthy, but still really delicious. And, this mocktail is my answer. So, if any of you are struggling with the same bad habits, I strongly encourage you to test it out!
- 4 Strawberries
- handful of blueberries
- 3/4 bottle of La Croix ( I used cran-raspberry)
- Sweetener to taste
- In a small blender combine strawberry and blueberries. Blend until they become juice and then add in add sparkling water and sweetener. Serve over ice!
