Where has 2015 gone? It was such an exciting year for me. From getting engaged, moving in to my first big apartment in the city, starting a big girl job, and launching Simply J and K there have been so many incredible firsts. It’s safe to say this year was one for the books, and I can’t wait to see what next year holds.
5….4….3….2….1 Happy (almost) New Year! I couldn’t be more excited to ring in 2016. From getting married to traveling and working, this year is certainly bringing some incredible changes my way. To help celebrate the new year, and throw one heck of New Year’s Eve party, i’ve come up with these adorable DIY Confetti Poppers.
You guys Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s bringing my boozy Hot Chocolate with him. Seriously, this may be one of the best drinks i’ve shared with you.
I’m finally home for the Holidays and spent the day baking with my mom- christmas carols and all- and I can’t wait to share this incredible recipe with you guys.
Christmas is all about spending time with the people you love and, fortunately, that comes in the shape of countless Holiday parties. My mom always told me to never show up to someone’s party without a small gift, but I got bored of bringing a bottle of wine everywhere I went.
Not to brag, but these are by far the BEST Christmas cookies. Whenever I make them for parties our friends can’t stop talking about how addicting they are. So baker beware!
J and I have really been getting into the holiday spirit this year & couldn’t wait to decorate our apartment. If you’ve followed along with the blog, you know I have a slight obsession with Trader Joe’s and this obsession really grows when Christmas comes around. I mean seriously, have you seen all of their Holiday plants?! Normally I like to make my own wreath, but for only 10 bucks this thing was a steal and it was so much easier.
