What a weekend! Jordon and I soaked up the gorgeous fall weather this weekend by heading to George Washington’s Mt. Vernon estate and it was seriously gorgeous. Monday mornings can be brutal after fun weekends like this one, and I always try to ease myself back into the work week by starting my Monday off with a healthy breakfast.
It’s official… Holiday season is here. With it comes Holiday entertaining & I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve already got a few parties up my sleeve and can’t wait to share them with you.
But, let’s be real you can’t always play hostess and my mom taught me early that you never show up to someone else’s party without a gift. Show the hostess that planned, prepped, organized and threw the party some love by gifting her something thoughtful & personal.
To take some stress off, i’ve rounded up some of my favorite hostess gifts!
Now, let’s shop:
I’m planning Friendsgiving this year and I can’t wait to start decorating for the festivities. I rounded up my favorite decorations & tabletop accessories to help you plan your very own!
These Buffalo Chicken Nachos with Queso are SO delicious, and are honestly the perfect dish for any tailgating party. I found the original recipe over on HosttheToast and made a few changes based on our taste (J hates anything too spicy). I love how it turned out & had to share. Enjoy!
Happy Halloween! I love serving specialty cocktails around the holidays and this poison apple cocktail is easily the best Halloween drink i’ve had. Pomegranate, apple cider, lime & vodka is always a winning combination. I found the original recipe over at Evermine Occasions, but added a bit of lime for a punch.
Looking for a Halloween treat other than candy? This Graveyard pudding is adorable, delicious, and easy to make. Not to mention they are so fun and the perfect addition to any Halloween party. Happy Friday!
Game days are big in our house (Go Colts!) and i’m always looking for healthy tailgate recipes to serve. These skinny loaded fries are SO good and they cut out so many of the unnecessary calories that restaurants pile on.
It’s hard to choose my favorite mimosa, but these just may take the cake. Seriously SO good and so easy to make. I like to serve mine with an apple slice for garnish!
Have I mentioned that I love pumpkins, crafting, and everything fall? Seriously, this is the perfect way to decorate your pumpkins and you don’t have to deal with the mess of carving. Not to mention, these little pumpkins look adorable in our apartment.
If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I LOVE entertaining. Seriously, if I could be a professional hostess I would be. Now that fall is well underway, I wanted to share some of my tablescapes for hosting fall dinner parties!
