On the weekends I love to pretend I’m a master baker when it comes to breakfast. You can find me baking doughnuts, waffles, banana bread, etc. But, I literally have no energy to whip up and of the above during the weekdays. I’m always looking for simple, healthy recipes that leave me feeling filled. This is that recipe.
I always loved stopping by Starbucks to grab one of their yogurt parfaits, so I figured it was about time I just made my own. A simple yogurt parfait is great when you have little to no time because you can make it ahead of time and eat it (carefully) while driving to work.
For this parfait I chose honey yogurt, low-fat granola, strawberries and a touch of honey. Let me just say it was a winning combination. The best part of this recipe is that it can be customized according to what your favorite flavors are. Next up I’m thinking of mixing it up with blueberry yogurt and mixed fruit granola!
To make this simple breakfast just combine one container honey yogurt, 4 -5 large strawberries, and about 1/3 a cup of granola into a glass and you’re good to go!
What are your favorite parfait combinations?

It looks good especially with all the different layers! The blueberry and mixed fruit granola combo sounds nice too. Tonight I’ve just made mango puree and chia pudding layered in a glass, it’s the first time I’ve made it so looking forward to trying it in the morning!
